Jared Greer is a serial entrepreneur with 14 years of medical sales experience with the world’s largest medical device manufacturer and the world’s largest pharmaceutical company. In these roles, he has received numerous regional and national sales awards, including two consecutive Sales Representative of the Year awards and 3 consecutive President’s Club awards.
Jared is co-founder and CEO of a medical device startup creating innovative products to improve laparoscopic surgery. He is also president of a company focused on building, leasing, and selling residential rental properties in proximity to the University of Arkansas.
Jared was the owner of Northwest Arkansas TCBY. Before selling the business in 2015, his Rogers, Arkansas location employed approximately 25 people and was one of the top revenue-producing TCBY stores in the world.
While earning his MBA from the Walton College of Business in 2009, Jared helped found a medical diagnostic equipment company that was developing an innovative, non-invasive, and convenient screening tool to detect breast cancer in women’s tears. His role as CEO helped lead the team to unprecedented success in numerous national and international business plan competitions, raising nearly $100,000 in cash prizes and generating significant media recognition.
Jared earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Industrial Engineering (Magna Cum Laude, 2002) from the University of Arkansas and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
Jared has served as a mentor for several startup and student entrepreneurs and his board service includes the University of Arkansas SAKE Board of Directors, and the University of Arkansas MBA Alumni Advisory Board. He has also volunteered with the Children’s Safety Center Dream Big Event Planning Committee and the Susan G Komen Ozark NWA Breast Cancer Providers Conference Planning Committee.
