Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage, maintain and support software designed by Angel Eye and partners. Designs, develops and modifies procedures and software relating to Angel Eye’s complex healthcare communication platform using state of the art software, development tools and methods with consideration for computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, computer-user interfaces and form of desired results. Expected to perform project tasks such as software development, software implementation, application maintenance, application troubleshooting, software upgrades, software testing, and custom report writing, in individual and team member roles.

Administration and support of custom and partner software and hardware applications: Create required test files; analyze test results and debug software operations; check data for validity; assemble documentation, software narrative and testing approvals from users. Perform application implementations by coordinating various areas of the client’s IT department as well as the user community. Troubleshoot application issues and provide help desk support to users of these systems. Assist in onsite demonstration for perspective clients; assist with installation of Angel Eye software and hardware and provide required user training for client facilities; periodically assist in booth setup, breakdown and marketing roles when presenting at trade shows. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related field plus 3 years computer programming experience or equal high school diploma with equal experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven programming experience in one or more programming languages is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following: Visual Basic, .NET, C#, PHP, ASP, Python, HTML5, CSS, Microsoft SQL, TSQL, MySQL, and SSRS. Client/Server programming as well as Internet Application programming is required.

Candidate should have basic understanding of complex network infrastructures and experience in Microsoft and Linux server management; network video experience is a plus, cloud based server management is a plus, google app engine experience a plus, mobile application development a plus. PREFERRED SKILLS Candidate should be creative, self-starter, critical thinker, possess the ability to work alone, ability to work closely and effectively in a team environment. Knowledge and/or experience in a hospital IT environment is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting skills are required.
