The Week Ahead: ARA Fellows Announcement, 1MC, Local First Little Rock

Shaking off Thanksgiving hangover, the week ahead unfolds slowly as we dip our collective toes back into the pool of techpreneurs in Arkansas.

The biggie this week? The Arkansas Research Alliance will announce its first class of Fellows Wednesday at the Arkansas State Capitol. But wait, there's more...

The week ahead:

  • The ASBTDC is hosting a seminar, Starting a Business in Arkansas, Monday from the UA's Reynolds center. More info here
  • 1 Million Cups Little Rock resumes Wednesday morning from the Little Rock Chamber. More here.
  • The inaugural class of ARA Fellows will be announced Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Governor's Conference Room inside the state Capitol. This first class will include five Fellows represrnting the state's five main research universities: the UofA, UAMS, UALR, ASU and UAPB. Look for coverage in Arkansas Business. More on ARA here.
