Spencer Jones on Getting Tips from a World-class Pitch Coach
Spencer Jones won ARK 4 -- the fourth installment of the ARK Challenge held last fall in Little Rock -- and his Jones Innovative Medical Solutions has attracted private financing and is poised for big things.
It very well could revolutionize the way blood is drawn in hospital settings.
During his ARK run, Spencer received some coaching from London-based international investor and startup founder Permjot Valia, an ARK Challenge mentor, and really, a champion of the Arkansas tech startup scene. He sings its praises everywhere he goes, and he goes lots of places.

No one wants to give money to a forgettable presenter, so grab their attention! But do it in a constructive way and on your own terms. Permjot suggests grabbing their attention by stressing the problem in the way that most people can understand. The investor might not suffer from the problem that your product is solving, so it is imperative that you present the problem in a relatable fashion, making them understand that your solution is valuable.
