Innovation U: Home of the Problem-solvers?

February 9, 2009
A new San Francisco Bay-area university based entirely on innovation will begin classes this summer. Check it out here.

Singularity University will be housed in a NASA facility and was introduced at last week's TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) conference in southern California.

The idea is to attract mostly graduate and post-graduate students from all over the world in the "emerging disciplines" such as nanotechnology, biotechnology and information technology, and bring them together to study how to fix the world's biggest problems.

Like parking in downtown Little Rock. Not really. But stuff like pandemics and global health-care, for sure.
