Today -- that's Monday, May 12 -- represents the deadline to apply for the 2014 ARK Challenge summer session in Fayetteville.

So if you've been pondering...it's time to apply or get off the, well, you know.

Apply here.

The startup accelerator's summer session will run June 9 through Sept. 10 from the ARK's new space on the Fayetteville square (1 East Center, Stes. 270, 275).

For the summer session, the ARK will take fewer teams -- up to five startups more fully developed than the early-stage teams from the previous two installments.

The focus will be on advanced startups with traction in the retail and logisitcs sectors. Each team will receive $50,000 in seed funding with the ARK getting a 6 percent equity stake.

And, of course, Jeannette is back as director.

As most of you likely know by now, the ARK will feature two 2014 sessions. The fall session will be held in Little Rock, and it'll run Aug. 4 through Nov. 13. Application deadline is July 8. Warwick Sabin of the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub will direct.

(More to come soon on the ARK's Little Rock digs.)

The fall session's focus will be on early-stage startups in the health, finance and government sectors. Apply here.

Good luck.
