Treatsie Featured in Mashable's Launchpad

May 30, 2014

Innovate Arkansas client firm Treatsie is featured today in Mashable's Launchpad series.

That's some nice -- dare we say sweet -- recognition for those Little Rock purveyors of artisan sweets, Keith Hoelzeman and Jamie Walden.

Here's more from Arkansas native Erica Swallow at Mashable:

My personal favorite from the box I received was the six-ounce bag of Hot Cakes Peanut Butter Bites, featuring a handful of organic peanut butter balls covered in semi-sweet chocolate and tidbits of sea salt. The box also featured a healthy-sized bag of Grey Ghost Bakery Lemon Sugar Cookies — an item exclusively supplied to Treatsie — and Hot Cakes Bling Bling dark chocolate, an artisan version of the Hostess Ding Dong. I felt like my childhood had been robbed for having eaten so many regular Hostess cakes.

Erica, of course, returned home this spring to help judge the first-ever High School Startup Weekend, which was held at the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock. She came away impressed with what she saw.

The Launchpad series at Mashable features early-stage software and app startups. Last summer, Erica wrote about Fayetteville social media analytics firm DataRank (another IA firm), in the Launchpad.
