Made By Few Set for Oct. 1-3 in River Market

The dates for the fourth-annual Made by Few tech conference "for makers of the web" have been set: Oct. 1-3 from the Ron Robinson Theater in the River Market District of downtown Little Rock.
Made by Few has grown into a nationally up-and-coming event for those who design and create mobile/web apps. (IA has been a sponsor.)
MxF is brought to central Arkansas by the creative folks at Few. Check out their new site here.
Those creative imps like to reveal event speakers in stages in the months leading up to the event, and speakers making Monday's first announcement are Randy J. Hunt, creative director at Etsy; Tobias van Schneider, lead designer at Spotify; and Aaron Draplin, designer at Draplin Design Co.

Made by Few Sets Date and Announces First Round of Speakers

The Made by Few team released their new website today and big names are coming to Little Rock for the fourth year of Made by Few. The event, October 1-3, will be held at Ron Robinson Theater.
If you've never heard of Made by Few, it is a bright spot in the year for the growing creative community in Arkansas and surrounding states. The single-track, two day conference focuses on individuals who design and create web/mobile applications and is intended to bring together the diverse and growing community of creatives, developers and entrepreneurs from across the state and beyond.
Abbi Siler, Organizer of Made by Few says, “The line up this year is incredible. We are very excited to announce our first three speakers today and this is only the beginning.”
On the list is Randy J. Hunt, Creative Director at Etsy and Tobias van Schneider, the lead designer at Spotify. Aaron Draplin, Designer at Draplin Design Co. rounds out the initial list with some new stories to tell.
The Made by Few team will continue to announce speakers throughout the summer leading up to the event. Arlton Lowry, Organizer of Made by Few and Co-founder at Few, calls the event a love letter to Arkansas creatives and developers. “We started this event four years ago with hopes of putting Arkansas on the map for technology and creativity. Made by Few isn’t just about big names, it’s about building up our community, having fun and inspiring people.”
There will be a total of 8 speakers, with 4 speakers presenting each day. The speakers will be a mix of designers, illustrators, developers, and entrepreneurs.
Tickets will include admission to each day of the conference, the kick-off event, the Designed by Few competition, the conference after-party, lunch & breakfast on both days, a conference t-shirt and lots of schwag. And of course, there will be giveaways.
