The event was organized by the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy.

More to come, but in the meantime, here's more info from the Hub:

Joel Gordon took his Launch Pad ideas to Washington this week! The Innovation Hub was proud to be represented by him at an invitation-only maker roundtable at the White House on May 11.

The meeting was organized by the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. It convened leaders in the maker movement, including representatives of NASA, Cornell University, Qualcomm and delegates of cities from New York to Los Angeles. We're so honored that Joel, director of The Launch Pad here in the Hub, was chosen as one of the representatives!

Discussions focused on how to integrate and leverage the maker movement to advance education, entrepreneurship and manufacturing.
