Michael Eason of PBX on Arkansas Startup Resources

May 27, 2015

Michael Eason of IA client PBX says he and his brother Brandon relied on Arkansas startup resources to help launch their startup when they didn't know where to begin.

Eason's latest post for Arkansas Money & Politics details how PBX, a Little Rock startup and ARK Challenge alum, used resources including Innovate Arkansas to successfully launch and grow.

A sample:

Many entrepreneurs fear starting their venture due to not knowing what to do next. PBX had that same feeling, but we learned it was okay, and found someone who could help us. We used resources within the ecosystem to help fill multiple gaps and launch PBX successfully...

PBX (Passenger Baggage Xpress) is an airlines luggage tracking system available at XNA in Benton County and Clinton National in Little Rock.

More from Michael:

A PBX tag helps to recover luggage that would otherwise be unreturnable. Think of it as your firewall against a trip disaster. Our luggage tag and mobile platform act as a tool to facilitate communication between you and your airline. If your airline issued tag is damaged, unrecognizable, or missing altogether, the permanent PBX luggage tag kicks in! Using airline’s existing software, our tag numbers can be substituted in their luggage recovery system giving you real-time distress notifications of your belongings. Armed with information provided by PBX, you are able to retrieve your belongings long before it makes it to the auction block!
