100 Girls of Code, recently launched in central Arkansas, is opening a chapter in northwest Arkansas as well. Go ahead and code it: There's some tech momentum in Arkansas right now. The NWA chapter will be operated by Startup Junkie.
The first 100 Girls of Code workshop in central Arkansas will go down from the Innovation Hub on May 16. It's free and open to girls ages 10 to 18.
Lots of coding in the works for central Arkansas. In addition to the Iron Yard and 100 Girls of Code coming to Little Rock, the AVC will host Arkansas developer Taylor Otwell of Laravel fame as part of its Code IT series.
