The G60 pitch contest returns to the Brickhouse Grill in downtown Jonesboro, this time a part of the Forge IDEA Festival on June 12. This latest G60 Jonesboro is presented by Startup Junkie and Forge Arkansas.
The legendary G60 pitch contest is back on for Arkadelphia. Orginially scheduled for earlier this spring on the campus of Henderson State University, G60 now will roll June 5 at high noon from HSU's Garrison Center.
The G60 pitch contest is still making an upcoming stop in Arkadelphia, but the location and date are changing. HSU still will host G60, but needs to change the date, and as of now, it's TBA.
G60 Arkadelphia will run from 6-8 p.m. from the Garrison Center Grand Ballroom on the HSU campus. Startup Junkie, IA and Henderson are joining forces for this edition of G60, and there's plenty of time to sign up.
Winners on Thursday in Fayetteville were Jordan King with "Incentivize Textless Driving," judges' award winner, and Sam Brehm with "The Fayettechill of Beer," people's choice winner.
The people's choice winner was Drew Bradbury, who pitched an idea for community-building sustainable agriculture. The judges' winner was Diana Hampo, who pitched Band-Aids for different skin tones.
It's a ways down the road, but the G60 pitch contest will return to the city of its birth on Feb. 12. The return is scheduled for 6 p.m. from Centerspace on the downtown square.
G60 returns 'south of the border' on Friday to play the Bossier Arts Council in Bossier City, La. G60, now administered by Winrock International, has played the four corners of Arkansas and is making its second trip out of state.
